Role & Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 5-10 engineers building scalable services and applications for Cognite Data Fusion. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, product managers, and program managers to deliver high-quality products on time. Coach engineers of varied experience and backgrounds to maximize their impact and growth. Understand user problems and domain to guide the team effectively. Remove blockers and liaise with stakeholders across teams to solve challenges. Influence product and technical direction actively. Contribute to code, reviews, and documentation when needed. Use Cognite products regularly to empathize with users ( dogfooding ). Desired Profile 2+ years of people management experience in a product company. 5+ years of full-stack development experience with expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and backend technologies. Previous senior engineer or tech lead experience is a plus. Passionate about growing engineering talent with empathy. Collaborative mindset focused on the greater good. Experience building data-intensive applications. Skilled in managing end-to-end feature delivery. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
