Software Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Location: Bangalore, India Full Time Company: Meta Meta s Enterprise Product Applied Research team is at the forefront of developing transformative AI-driven products. As a Software Engineering Manager in this team, you will help shape the future of Meta s enterprise operations, build innovative machine learning systems, and manage a team of talented engineers to deliver on high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead multiple teams to deliver projects with increasing dependencies in high-impact or ambiguous areas. Work with your team and cross-functional partners to define and influence strategy. Drive the creation and execution of roadmaps for machine learning products. Collaborate with various functions, engineering teams, and partners to drive initiatives and impact at an organizational level. Participate in technical design and ensure high standards for system architecture and implementation. Measure the impact of your team, set clear expectations, and drive performance through effective people management. Partner with leadership to influence organization design, prioritization, and resource allocation. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on technical management in large-scale systems, algorithms, and tools within the machine learning domain. 5+ years of coding experience in one of the following languages: C++, Java, Python, or PHP. BS/MS in Computer Science or a related discipline, or 4+ years of work experience in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management. Strong technical skills combined with effective people management abilities. Experience supporting and scaling machine learning teams and systems. Subject matter expertise in machine learning technologies and practices. Commitment to staying in the same team in India for a minimum of 24 months before being eligible for transfer.
