Job Description Main Responsibilities: Commodity Balance Sheets: Regularly review and update commodity balance sheets and highlight trading insights and conclusions. Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze primary data through surveys to ensure accuracy in commodity forecasts. Improvement of Primary Data Collection: Provide insights and recommendations to improve primary data collection processes. Supply/Demand Estimates: Innovate and implement new methods to improve the accuracy of supply and demand estimates. Cross-team Coordination: Facilitate coordination between the trading and research teams by sharing insights across India and globally. Skills Required: Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Hindi. Proficiency in any regional language is beneficial (the role may involve travel within the country). Technical Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Familiarity with VBA and Power BI for data analytics. Analytical Skills: Strong agronomical skills for crop forecasting and understanding agricultural markets. Experience with weather analysis and its impact on crop yields. Ability to conduct gross margin analysis for agricultural commodities.
