Junior DevOps Engineer Job in KIOT Innovations PVT LTD

What you'll be doing Most of your day will be dedicated to research, planning and coding. You'll be

responsible for deploying and scaling the next generation IOT platform which KIoT is working on. As an

early member of the DevOps team, you will have the opportunity to help KIOT reach our goals through

scaling our infrastructure, suggesting new tools and technologies. Also, you will be implementing the

best cloud security. Most of the time you'll be working directly with our tech lead and take technical

decisions together.

Responsibilities:

• Orchestration of all services

• Scaling Infrastructure for supporting high volume of IoT devices and users

• Implement best security practices

• Building new futuristic systems for high load handling

• Adding Deployment strategies, implementing CI/CD pipelines and automations

• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

• Developing tools and utilities to diagnose and fix problems.

• Work efficiently in a constantly changing and growing environment

What are we looking for:

• 2+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer

• Hands-on experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes

• Expertise in AWS or any cloud service provider

• Strong computer science fundamentals: networking, databases, and distributed systems

• Proficient with git and git workflows

• Good knowledge of Python, NodeJS

• Working knowledge of databases

• Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting systems and tools

• Strong skills in shell commands and scripting

• Good analytical & problem-solving skills

What we would appreciate:

• Hands-on experience with Helm

• Experience on one of many Build, Deploy, Operate and monitor tools

• Expertise in security and HasiCorp Vault

• Experience with infrastructure as code (terraform , cloudformation)
