Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Android applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources.
- Perform unit tests to ensure the usability, robustness, and reliability of the application.
- Ensure application performance improvements and fix bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to optimize development.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 8 years of experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Retrofit, and architectural patterns like MVVP and MVC.
- Proficient in the Android SDK, with an understanding of different Android versions and screen sizes.
- Experience in RESTful API integration for connecting Android apps to back-end services.
- Expertise in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces (e.g., touch-based).
- Familiarity with the open-source Android ecosystem and commonly used libraries.
- Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient with Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with continuous integration processes.
- Experience with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Hands-on experience in Payment Gateway integration and Push Notification implementation.
