Job Summary

As the Geospatial Business Development Head, your primary responsibility is to lead the growth and development of the Geographic Information System (GIS) business for the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve business growth targets, identifying new market opportunities, and building relationships with potential clients. Responsibilities: Develop and implement business strategies to build our Geospatial Business Lead the development of our Geospatial product offerings Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them Build and manage a team of Geospatial professionals Collaborate with other business units to identify cross-selling opportunities Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress of our Geospatial Business Business Development Strategy: You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement business development strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying potential customers, and evaluating competitive landscapes. Market Research: You will conduct market research to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying new technologies and innovations, and identifying potential customers and partners. Relationship Building: You will build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. This includes attending trade shows and conferences, networking events, and other industry gatherings to establish a strong presence and promote the company's GIS offerings. Proposal Development: You will develop proposals, presentations, and other materials to win new business. This includes working closely with technical teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. Sales Forecasting: You will be responsible for forecasting sales, developing budgets, and reporting on sales performance to senior management. This involves analyzing sales data, identifying trends and opportunities, and developing plans to address any performance issues. Team Management: You will manage a team of Geospatial sales and marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help them achieve their goals. This includes setting performance targets, conducting regular performance evaluations, and identifying training and development needs. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in Geospatial technology and business development. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree Business Administration, or related field. 10+ years of experience in Geospatial business development, sales, or marketing Experience working in the geospatial industry preferred. Experience in bagging and supporting the Geospatial projects in domains such as telecom, fiber555 optics, cadastral and utilities (gas, water, sewage, electrical etc). Experience in marketing for Photogrammetry, Lidar and image process opportunities. Expertise in Geospatial consultation, Computer Aided Design services and support. Proficient in Geospatial data handlings, integrations and products are added value.
