Job Summary
- The Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for providing support for the marketing department through various channels, print, digital, web, and other channels as assigned. The Graphic Design intern will assist with developing and designing graphics, logos, collateral event materials, and various other creative tasks as assigned. The Graphic Design Intern will also be assigned various website updates utilizing WordPress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Training in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
- Must be proficient in basic design programs including Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Writing and proofing skills are also required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Team Player
- Quick Learner and Efficient High sense of urgency
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print, and digital media
- Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends
