Job Summary
Position: Data Analyst Desired Experience: 3 years and/ or above preferred Salary Range: Senior Associate level, Competitive Salary Team You will act as a key member of the Data consulting team, working directly with the partners and senior stakeholders of the clients designing and implementing data and BI strategy. You will be responsible for developing the data platform, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing data warehouse. You will also collaborate with CTO and Product Owner to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organisation skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude. Your duties will include: Develop KPIs and reporting for CEOs, CXOs in Visualization tools viz. Power BI, Tableau Liaise with Data engineers to create stable, reliable and effective data warehouse/data lakes Designing and developing data focused products and solutions Liaising with CTO, Product Owners and other Operations teams to deliver engineering roadmaps showing key items such as upgrades, technical refreshes and new versions Data Integration, Transformation, Modelling Escalating application problems and following up to resolution Research and suggest new database products, services and protocols We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate some of the following skills & experience: Essential Personal Traits: You should be able to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams. You should have prior experience of Client Management. Timely communication/escalation of issues/dependencies to higher management. Curiosity to learn and apply emerging technologies to solve business problems Essential Technical Skills: Power BI Excel R / Python SQL ETL Dax , M language Desirable Skills: Azure Data Bricks Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Store Developing end to end ETL solutions using SSIS, Stored Procedures and other ETL techniques Ability to produce production-quality T-SQL code complete with internal documentation In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring) Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS / SSAS / SSRS) API Standards Experience/Knowledge of working in an agile environment and experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum A good understanding of Azure hosted data solutions (including Databricks, etc) Experience of working with development teams and product owners to understand their requirement Knowledge of web development (MVC framework) and the data access options Certifications on any of the above areas will be preferred.
