Power Grids Division delivers products, systems, service and software solutions as part of its comprehensive power & automation offering for the grid across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - serving utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure customers.

In this role be developing and promoting Quality Culture within global feeder factory (GFF), high voltage switchgear, by assuring and controlling Quality with systems, tools and teams to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.

We are looking to hire an experienced professional with broad quality experience, preferably with the background of precision manufacturing who brings statistical thinking to work every day and embrace lean as way of building quality in the process.

Your responsibilities

  • To Establish Quality management system aligned with common process shared with production site(s) and global processes. To provide confidence that customer quality requirements will be fulfilled, drive the utilization of process management across the value chain, minimizing variation and maximizing efficiencies.
  • To Ensure effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Validates the incoming inspection plans, manufacturing control plans, non-conformance capture and resolution.
  • Ensure the Voice of the Customer is represented within the operations. Enable and coach all employees to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a customer/stakeholder point of view. Ensure speed of response and resolution of customer issues on quality.
  • Responsible for application of quality tools to validate that the products quality consistently meets the operational and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle.
  • Perform audits and ensures the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the operation to identify risks, failures and non-conformances within the local business, its suppliers and customers. Ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken, and solutions are managed to closure.
  • To establish supplier quality assurance process covering the selection, qualification, performance measure, reporting and improvement with systematic process approach.
  • Identify and capture COPQ (wastes) across the value chain with cross functional ownership. Drive the improvement actions to achieve cost savings targets.
  • Be a change agent and quality champion to lead cross functional efforts in problem solving with proper use of root cause analysis tools and improvement methodologies.
  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, inventory and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Maintain and implement the living PFMEA practices on regular intervals
  • Implement DMAIC / 8D tools for quality resolutions in a sustainable way across the organization.

Your background

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial Production, Manufacturing. Additional education in Quality will be preferred.
  • Should have 8-12 years working experience in Quality and production management in multinational company.
  • Certified Black Belt from recognized body like ASQ or similar, at least a active GB with project experience to demonstrate.
  • Experience in working in Lean environment and familiar with the methodologies.
  • Possess good communication in English.
