Job Summary


This is a Channel Partner Support Team Leader role, reporting to the Channel Partner Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PAEN) located in Bangalore. You will be adapting and implementing sales support strategy for designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. You will be ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers, overseeing estimations and bids and proposals, ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting Sales including consultation to select best solution for customer s needs, defining best architecture to propose, presentations, connecting channel partner with other sales experts as needed, advising how to position.
  • Providing commercial support including pricing, sales tools, order process.
  • Collaborating with GPG Channel Managers to align with needs of GPG strategies and Global Channel Sales team.
  • Overseeing the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources. Ensuring all proposals follow relevant ABB procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements.
  • Ensuring support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and providing technical support and clarification as needed.
  • Assigning and allocating internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation. Supporting bid or no bid analyses and decisions. Participating in project risk review processes.

Your background

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Channel Partner experience at a system integrator or in equivalent support role.
  • Having ABB product knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Required team handling experience.
  • Should have strong customer management experience, positive and solution-oriented attitude.
