Job Summary
Your responsibilities
- Leading and coaching of the team in technical and non-technical aspects.
- Coaching the team members regarding technical questions, processes, tools and templates.
- Ensuring adequate staffing and introduction of new members to the team.
- Securing continuous improvement of the team s performance (deadlines, cost, quality).
- Developing and maintaining the relevant products and processes.
- Establishing and maintaining close collaboration to other engineering teams (locally and globally), product management, project management and supply chain management.
- Supporting product management during concept and tender phases.
- Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
- B.E/ B. Tech or M. Tech in Electrical engineering or Power electronics.
- Minimum 8-10 years of work experience in traction engineering or R&D area.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- Must have good experience in power electronics, traction convertor, railways applications, axe convertor.
- Must have good technical project management experience.
- Strong level of self-motivation and structured approach to work.
- Team lead and team player with excellent communication skills.
- Desire to work within an international team environment.
