Field Service Engineer Job in Abb

Your responsibilities Involving in engineering of automation system and field instruments also in performing preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution on ABB automation system used in Process & Industrial plants Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Developing and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available at the appropriate quality for service activities. Preparing standard lists for ease of work Preparing and maintaining maintenance check list and activity list besides documents and procedures for system maintenance, standard operating procedures, backup and recovery procedures Identifying potential system failures through system tools and diagnosing information and taking corrective actions. Troubleshooting hardware and software problems with the help of his own experience, system documentation and through collaboration with other colleagues Identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and implementing them in consultation with all stakeholders Ensuring that HSE practices are of high standard. Working to eliminate unsafe practices and incidents Your background Diploma or Graduate engineer in Electronics, Instrumentation or Electrical specialization, with 4-8 years of work experience in Industrial Automation in Oil & Gas, Power, or Process Industry Programming, testing, and commissioning experience in DCS or PLC systems is required, with onsite work experience Experience in any of ABB automation platforms of System 800xA or Freelance is preferable Willing to travel to customer sites, for service and commissioning activities Good hold on communication skills is an added advantage
