R&d Senior Engineer Job in Abb

This is a Senior R&D Engineer role, reporting to the R&D Product Manager in Business Area Industrial Automation and located in Bangalore. You will be Contributing with own ideas to identify, propose and implement innovative technology development and solutions. Solve industrial problems independently.

Your responsibilities

• Contributing and implementing initiative within the project using the tools and process and ensure alignment with assigned targets (time, cost, quality).
• Understanding the key business drivers for ABB in order to make judgments and contribute to results.
• Demonstrating solid technical proficiency in own competence area by performing a variety of technology/engineering assignments, mainly in research and development (R&D) projects.
• Maintaining systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
• Consulting internal external stakeholders concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems.
• Following processes, tool usage, and techniques in accordance with software development life cycle and quality principles.
• Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

• ME/M.Tech/MCA/ BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electrical from reputed institutions.
• Required 8-10 year of experience on windows application development experience in C#, VB 6.0, SQL and Oracle Server database.
• Should have good understanding on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Should have good understanding on design Patterns, team foundation server, agile and water models.
• Should have strong hands on experience on WPF programming with MVVM Pattern.
• Should have ability to contribute and implement initiative within the project using the tools and process and ensure alignment with assigned targets.
