This is a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer role, reporting to the Research & Development Principle Engineer in business area Process Automation (PA) located in Bangalore. Your responsibilities

• Automating enterprise product suite installation, configuration, lifecycle management, upgrade, and patching.
• Automating continuous integration to deploy the product to various environments using automated scripts and analyze ways to optimize their working for efficient resource use and cost.
• Integrating & managing security processes automation by working closely with Product Engineering and Product Management to ensure maximum compliance.
• Automating internal processes to the extent possible, such as third-party software usage and audit process.
• Managing production instances with team and coordinate resolution of production issues.

Your background

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronics from a reputed institution.
• Required 4-5 years of proven track record of technical architecture, enterprise application development, or operations.
• Should have strong scripting and Python skills to design and implement all round automation of DevOps processes.
• Should have solid grounding in enterprise software development lifecycle including the ability to troubleshoot across load balancer, network, service layers, applications.
• Hands on experience on Kubernetes, Docker technology is required.
• Should have demonstrated ability to coordinate DevOps activities across globally disperse, cross-functional software product development teams.
• Formal training/certification in DevOps management is preferred.
• Should have understanding/exposure of public cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud services.
• Should be familiar with Azure DevOps, AWS infrastructure tools.
