Roles & Responsibility

• Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
• Experience at all phases of the software product life cycle.
• Experience using various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure should be required.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for better improvement.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.
• Mentoring and guiding the team members.
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
• Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
• Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
• PCI or SOC2 compliance preferable

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
• Good knowledge of various cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, Google cloud )
• Good knowledge of various tools like Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, Nagios etc..
• Problem-solving attitude
