Job Summary
Roles & Responsibility
- Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
- Experience at all phases of the software product life cycle.
- Experience using various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure should be required.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
- Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for better improvement.
- Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
- Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
- Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.
- Mentoring and guiding the team members.
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
- PCI or SOC2 compliance preferable
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
- Good knowledge of various cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, Google cloud )
- Good knowledge of various tools like Jenkins, Docker, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack, Nagios etc..
- Problem-solving attitude
