Job Summary
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Possess knowledge of process equipment sizing and selection.
- Process equipments vendors evaluation.
- Possess knowledge of execution planning, commissioning and validation of process equipments.
- Ensure designed output from process equipments.
- Possess knowledge of long range plan.
- Manage and enforce maintenance policies and improvement policies.
- Manage and enforce asset care management.
- Ensure compliance of documentation for plant equipment.
- Manages and enforces all Project Execution Plan aspects of the project.
- Monitor site activities with respect to the latest approved schedules.
- Determines where improvements are required.
- Ensures that the required PEG Assessments are performed.
- Witnesses the in-process inspection.
- Participates in the post installation inspection.
- Manages communications between the execution team, design team, and contractors as necessary to maintain and resolve execution issues.
- Review and approve contractors method statement, erection procedures and work plans.
- Review and approval of JHA/JSA for execution activities.
- Prepare and issue Weekly/Monthly progress reports, schedules and cost reports.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Possess knowledge of latest cGMP norms for the manufacture, formulation and packaging of oral solid dosage forms with OEB 3 & 4 category.
- Possess knowledge of containment process equipments.
- Possess knowledge of containment facility.
- Handling plant maintenance in OSD plant to ensure smooth working to support the production and other stakeholder in a best possible manner.
- To ensure more than 98.5% availability of process equipment.
- Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- Maintains manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the department budget.
- Drives the Maintenance and Reliability initiative focused on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, not reactive.
- To ensure all the equipment maintenance as per the PM schedule and review relevant documents.
- To investigate and review the root cause in case major/ repeated breakdown of equipment.
- To ensure building maintenance as per building maintenance schedule.
- To ensure all documentation work related to Breakdown maintenance/Preventive Maintenance exception change management, SOPs, Checklist etc.
- Managing, maintaining, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines in GMP/GEP to ensure production meets or performs better than budget.
- Setting and maintaining departmental budget by reviewing financial statements.
- Manage Spare and Building maintenance budget for current and future equipment upgrades and replacements.
- Participate in designing and developing future production capacities by attending design meetings; coordinating with other stakeholder and improvements; and updating maintenance operating procedures and schedules to incorporate the changes.
- Strategic projects initiative, evaluation and execution for new equipment installment, GMP upgradation projects.
- To manage the internal & external audits and ensure 100% EHS compliance and regulatory requirements.
