Associate Vice President - Technical Textiles Job in Abc Consultants

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaising with and providing technical advice to design, marketing, purchasing and production staff.
• Creating products in response to given briefs.
• Amending designs where necessary.
• Coordination with manufacturing plants to produce samples.
• Evaluating, identifying, and selecting fabrics/products from suppliers.
• Ensuring that products meet set requirements and specifications (e.g. colour, fastness, durability etc.).
• Ensuring that the products are tested for suitability and performance under various conditions.
• Controlling production and quality standards.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of products as per customer requirements.
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
• Keeping up to date with trends and innovations.
• Generate business MIS, as required.

Job Specifications:

Education: B. Tech/B. E/M. Tech (Textile)

Experience: 15+ years of relevant work experience

Behavioural Competencies

• Proven work experience in Technical Apparels in the extreme cold climate clothing
• Past track record to have done business with the armed forces through tendering
