KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

FUNCTIONAL/ OPERATIONAL:

• Setting financial objectives and monitoring their achievement
• Experience of financial management including budget formulation and rigorous financial control/ monitoring
• Liaison with investors and financial institutions
• Accountable for finance, accounting, taxation, treasury and commercial functions relating to Budgeting, Pricing and acquisitions
• Actively work on procurement benchmarking and drive negotiation benefits while working with Global Procurement Team
• Monitoring business processes and cash flow analysis
• Verify the validity and integrity of the operating, financial and environmental assumptions made by the business heads and thereafter prepare a comprehensive financial plan for the business
• Review compliances for Direct and Indirect Taxation, past taxation matters at AO, CIT (Appeals), ITAT levels
• Periodically monitor, review, assess and update performance against the plan and assist operating heads to improve performance
• Compile and present relevant financial data to external agencies including banks, financial institutions, local and international investors as well as other statutory and government agencies
• Experience of prioritizing and targeting resources to meet a multiplicity of competing demands
• Ensure Compliance to Indian and International work standards
• To be present for Board Meetings, AGM, Audits and other Board Committees
• Ensure compliance with Insurance norms and procedures
• Familiarity with Banking and Working Capital terminologies, work closely with Group Treasury Team
• Well-versed with Legal aspects of Business
• Ensure adherence to reporting norms specified by Global Finance

TEAM RELATED:

• Establish innovative systems and procedures for handling data & reports and continuously improvise on them
• Measure performance of the teams for e.g. performance appraisals, confirmation and ongoing feedback and training
• Build effective vertical and horizontal communication channels
• Formulate long term plans for the development and motivation of the team
• Provide efficient leadership to the team
• To be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behavior/ attitude
• Control the team s attrition
• Responsible for motivating the team
• Groom and mentor the Team to handle more responsibility
• Regularly assess training needs to fill gaps in performance

CLIENT SPECIFIC / ORIENTED:

• To be present for client interactions whenever scheduled
• Prepare reports periodically to be sent to clients

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified CA
• 23-25 years of experience in financial function
• Must have handled a revenue of at least $150-200mn
• Must have industry exposure of BPO / Tech Services / ITeS / KPO / eCommerce
• Knowledge of Indian Corporate Scenario, Acquainted with IFRS and Indian GAAP Accounting
• Prior experience in handling at least a 20 member team
• Experience in dealing with multi-locational assignments
• Prior experience with BPO industry would be given first preference
