Job Summary

Role:

The client is looking for a senior person who will lead all their private labelbrands in Brand building.

The role of the head of Brand building is all aspects of building a brand including Go to Market strategies. He/she will primarily be responsible for developing highly effective marketing plans through a deep understanding of the consumer and the brand's target market, which in turn, achieves profit and maximizes the brand's long-term potential. Under the person we will build brand teams who will lead brand building for each individual category as stated above. He/she will lead a team of Brand Managers who will be responsible for individual brand and will report to the CEO of Pvt label.

Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Is the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects
  • Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and trade marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, advertising)
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Leads the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other marketing vehicles.
  • Sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables
  • Provides reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing trade and consumer promotion programs

Communication:

  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to take action
  • Align the company around the brand s direction, choices and tactics
  • Contributes to annual brand planning process

Consumer Insights & Innovation:

  • Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives
  • Devise innovative growth strategies

Collaboration:

  • Collaborates with sales team for specific strategies and launches
  • Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company

Desired Candidate:

  • Have proven track of Brand Building within Cosmetics Industry
  • Experience in managing and leading teams to deliver on objectives
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills as well as attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude and a history of exceeding service expectations
  • Leadership ability and natural ways of inspiring your environment
  • Pro-active, entrepreneurial individual with a constant drive for results
