VP - Program Manager Enterprise Core & Data - (WD22843)

Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose:

Be the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the local business, support unit, country and other technology/operations leaders for Core Banking Platform (Finacle). The candidate must be comfortable with interacting with partners at a MD level in both written and oral English.

Job Accountabilities:

• Manage the local technology team. This will include responsibility for hiring, training and performance management, change management, release management & problem management.
• Manage Core Banking (Primarily Finacle V 10 & 11) & Data related Projects, Initiatives, Enhancements, Production Issues etc. This includes vendor management, BAU support, end to end initiative scoping, planning, delivery and deployment in production.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources.
• Collaborates with other Managers and technical staff to provision estimates, develop overall integration plan, and serve as a lead as required, to manage solution architecture/design, implement the installation, customization, and integration.
• Act as Scrum Master and implement Agile Methodologies
• Manage and plan green zone activities
• Manage current and next gen Technology
• Facilitate ISS controls implementation, gap analysis & process reengineering
• Co-ordinate and work with regional teams to implement local stability and process improvement review programs.
• Manage financial budget, forecasts and actuals.
• Education & Requirement:
• A degree in Computer Science or related subject is preferred
• Experience of successfully facing off to senior business leaders
• 14+ Experience in Core Banking primarily Finacle
• Regional working experience 2-5 years (preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of Finacle (implementation, customization, configuration)
• Wide knowledge of current and future trends in business and technology environment.
• Technical Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of Finacle, Data Management, related software & integrations (APIs, Microservices, ATM, MQ, HTTPS, SWIFT, Indian Payments e.g. UPI, BHIM, RuPAY, IMPS, NACH, NEFT, RTGS etc,)
• Hands on Software development, middleware technology, databases, open source, migrations, security, deployment, QA, project management, agile/scrum, waterfall
