Job Description:

  • Understanding the organization objectives and project/product level objectives
  • In-dept understanding the product, target audience, market needs, competition, market trends etc.
  • Product Analysis and Improvement
    • Identify the gaps and market opportunities
    • Plan/Document and share the solution for the gaps and opportunities
    • Evaluate the product performance and acceptance with real users and sales/marketing data.
  • Backlog Management based on the inputs taken from the Sales/Marketing/Product Team and the competition analysis.
  • Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competition analysis; sharing recommendations and action plan.
  • Coordination with the Sales/Marketing/Product Team
    • Backlog management, setting up priorities, negotiating timelines, sharing market research and insights collected
    • Marketing Material updates and new marketing material creation, marketing activities performance analysis, growth strategy, future action plan etc.
    • Content Publishing on the product demos to ensure the product demo is always perfect to deliver best possible user experience to our external and internal audience (Prospects, Partners, Possible Investors and Team).
  • Analyze the marketing assets (web pages, landing pages, mailers, promotion materials etc.) for
    • sync between our existing product features vs what we are pitching for vs market demand/trends/future plans
    • performance analysis against distribution, visibility, CTR, user engagement, conversion and other qualitative and quantitative variables and share recommendations for improving the performance on regular basis.
  • Constant alignment with the PMOs/Concerned Marketing Team Members
    • Knowledge sharing (industry-specific)
    • Remove duplicity of work (market research & competitor analysis)
    • Chalk out short-term/long-term product roadmap in terms of marketing activities; review and participate in framing the monthly marketing activities plan.
    • Make sure marketing efforts are aligned with expectations set in the monthly marketing planning meeting.
  • Share an executive summary on a monthly basis with the company stakeholders. Share overall team progress (marketing & development), lead count change percentage, lead relevancy, and other KPI's in order to review and understand if the quality is as expected and deliverables are being achieved on time.
  • Analyze the gaps (resources, skills, tools, mentoring, motivation, coordination/collaboration etc) which are hampering the planning/execution/management of the marketing strategy; and share the observations and suggestions with the concerned seniors and/or department heads.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Marketing Documents/Presentations/Case Studies
  • Marketing Material - Research, Planning, Execution and Performance Analysis
    • Understanding the project level objectives and the broad level project plan
    • Understand the objectives of the marketing material to be produced
    • Coordinate with the concerned team members for taking their inputs
    • Creating the plan/wire frame/rough draft (DRAFT) for the content, video, marketing page, promotion material being planned.
    • Discuss the DRAFT with concerned Project Manager or the senior person and do the final tweaks before the DRAFT is sent for Production.
    • Setup a reasonable deadline for the production of the Marketing Material DRAFTed.
    • Keep a watch on the progress being made.
    • Remove impediments and deviations, team should not get deviated from the planned targets; connect with the Project Management Lead for this.
    • Compare the estimated results with the actual results achieved after the marketing material has been published; optimize the marketing material content for improving the performance.
  • Analyze Marketing data: formulate reports and make recommendations to the senior leadership.
