Job Summary

Design, develop, deploy and support large scale, high availability backend services.
Ensure performance, scalability, maintainability and security of the services being built.
Collaborate with wider project teams, including web and mobile engineers, and deliver quality OTT solution that meets the requirements of Accedo s customers.
Communicate with stakeholders, both external and internal, about the progress of the development.
Work closely with Engineering Manager, and help define the guiding principles and best practices; and ensure it is followed by the wider team.

Over 5 years of professional experience in developing Microservices using Node.js.
Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript.
Good understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns and best practices.
Strong communication skills, both writing and verbally, in order to communicate complex technical solutions to both engineers and non-engineering stakeholders.
Self-motivated and customer-focused.
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure will be an advantage.
Experienced in SQL, NoSQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, RabbitMQ or Kubernetes will be a plus.
