About the Role
As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery by implementing automated testing processes and conducting continuous security, API, and regression testing. You will be responsible for designing automation strategies, creating test scripts, and managing test environments. You will also collaborate with multiple teams, monitor and report defects, and drive continuous improvements in testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in test automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless testing integration.
- Take ownership of team decisions and automation testing strategies.
- Engage with multiple teams, contributing to key testing decisions.
- Implement and optimize automated testing frameworks.
- Conduct test case reviews and ensure test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide insights for continuous improvements.
- Monitor and report defects, supporting root cause analysis and resolution.
Technical Skills & Expertise
Must-Have Skills:
- Expertise in TOSCA Testsuite for automated testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber.
- Strong experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and debugging techniques.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Automated Testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Understanding of cross-browser testing and debugging strategies.
- Experience with mobile application testing.
Key Responsibilities in Test Automation:
- Develop and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks.
- Create reusable test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Enable cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Train QA teams on Selenium automation and ensure script quality.
- Implement automated test reporting and improve automation coverage.
Additional Information
- The candidate must have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in TOSCA Testsuite and Selenium.
- This role is based in Pune.
- Candidates must have 15 years of full-time education.
