Role Overview
ACS Networks is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive client acquisition, manage online bidding platforms, and lead a development team to deliver IT services like web/app/software development. This is a strategic role blending sales, operations, and team management within a fast-paced IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Source and secure IT projects from freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr, Guru, 99designs, etc.).
- Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored IT solutions.
Team & Project Management
- Lead and guide the development team to meet project and revenue targets.
- Align team output with client expectations and company goals.
- Offer mentoring and performance management to ensure effective execution.
Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze market trends and competitors to formulate growth strategies.
- Develop and execute plans to expand the company s market presence.
Client Engagement
- Negotiate project terms (scope, budget, timelines).
- Maintain proactive communication to ensure client satisfaction.
Documentation & Proposals
- Prepare detailed business proposals, plans, and presentations.
- Maintain proper records for project specs, client interactions, and contracts.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track performance metrics and generate reports for leadership.
- Recommend improvements for business development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor s in IT, Business Administration, or related field (Master s preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT business development.
- Proven success in project acquisition via freelancing platforms.
- Deep understanding of IT services (web/app/software development, etc.).
- Strong team leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
