Senior Associate/associate Technology Sector Research Job in Acuity Knowledge Partners

Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement

Acuity Knowledge Partners is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence and have strong research acumen and preferably, prior experience with working on the Technology sector.

The candidate will be part of the team carrying out strategic research projects for a global management-consulting firm, delivering data backed insights and acting as a thought partner for the client s consulting team overall.

• Bachelors or Master s Degree, preferably in Engineering, IT, Communications etc.

• 1-5 years of work experience

• Working knowledge of basic concepts related to the technology sector

• Knowledge of public data, research, and analytic resources

• Comfortable working on Excel

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

• Team players who must show the willingness to work with cross functional teams across many time zones

Responsibilities

• Helping the client make well informed, data backed decisions. Working under short and tight timelines on secondary research projects ranging relating to companies or industries

• Industry / Market Analysis ability to scan and source insightful inputs around market including market sizing, segments or competitive landscape

• Deliver high quality research, which includes, but is not limited to company profiles, industry and market analysis, industry thematic studies, market sizing, strategy analysis, financial analysis, competitive analysis/benchmarking, best practices benchmarking across multiple arenas, macro-economic analysis

• Company benchmarking Execute company level research leveraging open sources as well as databases

• Leveraging databases such as Factiva, Capital IQ, Euromonitor, Refinitiv, EMIS for research related to latest developments, data/financial analysis and market assessments

• End to end project ownership Scoping the work, sharing approach and methodology with requesters, sanity checks and final delivery

• Working as a team player with ownership and responsibility towards the team
