What you ll be doing:

  • Writing clear, grammatically correct, and error-free content that reflects the company s voice and brand, drives traffic, engages and converts target customers. Planing and developing content for white papers, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, case studies, and other content as needed
  • Producing copy for a variety of media, including social, print, video, and online
  • Proposing copy concepts in an engaging way
  • Contributing to social media postings and management of social media accounts and content calendar
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, services team leads, our PR team, and company leadership to brainstorm and develop persuasive written marketing materials
  • Researching keywords to optimize newly produced content for search engines
  • Researching industry-related topics, identifying target audience s needs, and recommending new ideas
  • Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts
  • Managing editorial calendars and content project plans; provide regular updates to stakeholders

What skills are we looking for?

  • Either (a) a bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or English with a significant focus in technical writing and communications, or (b) a bachelor s degree in computer science or engineering.
  • 2-5 years experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agency
  • A proven ability to think conceptually and to communicate complex ideas and technology-related concepts at an optimum level of abstraction for executive-level readers in North America and the U.K.
  • Experience producing copy for digital media channels, including email marketing, social media, and websites
  • Exceptional skills in social media writing, including the use of hashtags, relevant acronyms, and social amplification
  • Experience writing compelling digital advertising copy
  • Proficiency with common office software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing will be preferred
  • Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team
  • Proven experience communicating topics related to Information Technology (computing, servers, Microsoft-related technologies, artificial intelligence, and other IT-related topics) will be strongly preferred.
