Job Summary

Responsibilities

1. Initiate yearly Business budgeting process with a high degree of precision and timeliness by working closely with the various teams viz. marketing, business development,
operations and services.
2. Ensure account finalization with high accuracy. Represent in statutory audits and address audit observations promptly. Oversee periodic review of G/L to ensure accounting
integrity.
3. Work closely with an objective to create a system for monitoring key parameters on daily / weekly / monthly basis. Ensure MIS is accurate and circulated across individual
sites/units and also on a consolidated basis. Based on the MIS, discuss and monitor with various teams on the parameters that have a major impact on the cash flow as well as
expenses.
4. Support CEO/ CFO/ COO in business planning and strategic decisions in acquisitions and mergers. Prepare 3 to 5 years strategic plan.
5. Continuously benchmark the performance of the business against various parameters like EBIDTA, Per unit contribution etc. with peers within the industry.
6. Ensure integrity and control across various processes through continuous improvement: make certain that processes are executed in line with new operating model and support
adoption of improvements in accounting and reporting system and processes.
7. Should be aware of the banking processes of appraisal of Working Capital facility and term loan facility.
8. Guide and monitor all business sites in terms of direct and indirect cost. Bring in efficiency of operations through better understanding of various financial parameters.
9. Ensure that revenues and expenses are booked in line with the accounting policies of the Company and guidelines laid down by the Group Policies and that any changes in
accounting rules and policies are promptly implemented in the Business.
10. Participate in account finalization of open items. Represent BU in statutory audits and address audit observations promptly, oversee periodic review of G/L (or triggered by FP&A)
to ensure high level of accounting integrity.
11. Interface with Corporate Secretarial in compliance matters. Ensure prompt notification of Secretarial events to the Corporate Secretarial team and monitor satisfaction of
compliance with RoC, RBI, SEBI, Stock Exchanges. Act as the single point of contact for all Secretarial related issues within own BU.
12. Ensure appropriate and adequate insurance coverage policy and claims recovery . Ensure prompt notification of incidents and provide support during surveys through provision of
relevant documentation. Represent the business in claims negotiations if required.
13. Responsible for Tie up of long term funds & working capital limits for the project.
14. Interface with Corporate Tax team to ensure adherence to promised SLAs for DT & IDT compliance for own BU
15. Costing Analysis By Actual Expenses & Preparing Report And Comparing Budgeted Cost Vs Actual Costs, Specifying And Comparing Key Factors Affecting Pricing And
Profitability Of The Products And Services.
16. Responsible for Cost Controlling activities like Mis, Variance Analysis, Profitability, Etc
17. Strengthen the system of Compliances and Pre-validation of major contract to ensure optimum Fiscal Benefit under GST Regime and Active Involvement in Regulatory Matters
and Optimization of Revenue. Identify the areas of New Levies to be claimed under CIL
18. Where applicable, work with the Marketing / Biz. Dev. to set up credit standards / terms for receivables, collections policy; setting working capital targets based on cash-flow
requirements/ typical cash pattern for BU.
