Job Summary Manager - Logistic (Kurmitar)-(2001RLR7)

Description

Job Objective Candidate shall be overall in-charge for monitoring & coordination of shift operation(Logistics) at Mine Site as well as Railway siding. He shall be responsible for cost effective Logistics Operation by curtailing unproductive loses like transit losses, freight loss, punitive etc. Roles and Responsibilities Strategic Roles & Responsibilities I. Road /Railway Operations Planning and Review 40% Coordinating with Mining/CHP Team & Security Team for day-to-day vehicle loading & road dispatch Logistics operation. Coordinating with Transport agency for vehicle placement. Coordinating with rake loading contractor for shift wise rake loading & siding operation. Coordinating with Railways authorities at siding & at division for day-to-day rake loading plan & rake loading operation. Road Transportation & Rake Loading Contract management & monitoring, billing and payment processing Overall management & coordination of Shift Operation(Logistics) at Mine site & at Railway siding. To monitor & control operational losses as per set KRAs. Preparing Shift wise MIS on road/ rail dispatched II Cost Management - 50% - Focus on enhancing shift operation efficiency by close monitoring of vehicle TAT - Implementing of operation control in Railway operation for reduction in Freight loss/ punitive and transit losses -Focus on maintaining operational cost & loses within given budget III People management : 10% Ensure capability development of the team through training and mentoring, identify & providing opportunity to deserving candidates by upgrading them Technology and IT Enablement Good knowledge of SAP, Power Point PPT, Advance Excel. Should have System Automation driven approach to make technology based automation control of Logistics operation.

Qualifications

Job Profile Educational Qualification:
Essential: Graduate / Post Graduate
Desired: MBA/ Experience and/or Qualification in Supply Chain Management Experiences:
15-20 years of professional experience in the field of Railway / Road dispatch operation for bulk products. Candidate with experience profile as shift In-charge shall be given preference
