Job Summary

Adani Cementation Limited is integrated to establish a Cement Grinding Unit at Dahej, District Bharuch, Gujarat. The production capacity of the unit shall be 1 MTPA OPC /PPC in Phase-I and shall be upgraded to 2 MTPA in Phase-II. With pre-project activities going on in full swing, the ground-breaking is envisaged post monsoon this year. The Dahej GU project is first step of ACL s plan to enter in Cement Business in a big way keeping the target of having Cement Production units all-across India.

The incumbent will head total operations, at the Dahej Grinding Unit, with accountability for production, productivity, quality, cost, and manpower management. The incumbent will also plan and build their own team to execute the project and manage the operations at the plant. The incumbent should have a degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical engineering with 20-25 years of experience in operations & maintenance functions in the cement industry. They should also have executed greenfield cement grinding/integrated units from ground-breaking to commissioning. They should currently be heading manufacturing/ maintenance function in a large cement plant grinding unit. Ability to handle large contracts from the stage of tendering, award to managing operations would be critical for this role.
