Job description
Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement of proposals and quotations, Contracts Management, follow ups, negotiation for rates accordingly.
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Purchase.
Responsibility
- Vendor identification, vendor development, Vendor negotiations, Vendor impalement, Vendor management
- Prepare Comparative Statements for new vendors
- Monitor and priorities Purchase orders generation and track the materials receiving.
- Checking of invoices in accordance with Purchase order.
- Make Payments schedules to Suppliers / Vendors.
- Check Inward Register Entries and compare with POs.
- Quality check and quality control of all the materials ordered and received.
- Following up with Suppliers or Vendors for Material receivable.
- Co-ordinating and controlling the material aging and product expiry cycles.
- Ensure all the files are updated on weekly / monthly basis with all the purchase related documents, invoices, POs, DCs etc.,
- Co-ordinate with Accounts Dept. for Purchase related payments and others of any.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- ERP knowledge & Tally knowledge.
- Excellent purchase management.
- Excellent time management.
Education
- UG: B.tech/B.E in Civil
