The Opportunity

Adobe Consulting is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our outstanding team. Work with a top team on highly visible projects across industries and verticals and grow with a robust system of support and enablement.

What you'll Do

• Proactively maintain the highest level of technical expertise by staying current on Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies and solutions through internally and externally available learning opportunities as well as self-study
• Be a recognized specialist in Adobe Experience Manager
• Lead large, multi-solution consulting engagements with Adobe clients and partners
• Demonstrate hands-on technical and product skills, as well as digital marketing eye for business, in crafting the solution architecture, in partnership with one or more solution specialists
• Build trusted advisor relationships with our clients & partners
• Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Take leadership during project discovery and delivery in collaboration with Delivery Managers and Project Managers
• Optimal analyze sophisticated project issues, develop solution options, and facilitate the presentation and review of the options and our recommendation with the clients
• Work on own initiative without need for direction for most consulting activities
• Develop and nurture technical expertise to deftly lead large teams of specialists from Adobe or partner organizations
• Participate in the Adobe technical community to develop and share standard methodologies and processes
• Provide thought leadership to the team and wider consulting community helping to set future strategic direction
• Champion collaboration among consultants and cross-functional teams
• Experience and willingness to work onsite at the customers for a significant amount of time.

What you need to succeed

Technical consulting delivery experience

• Experience working with content platforms
• Good presentation, and communication skills both verbal and written in English
• Ability to win people over and be a standout colleague
• Experience of the whole project lifecycle. Able to estimate and execute tasks throughout the lifecycle including architecture, design, and development
• Deep understanding of development in an Agile environment and ideally Scrum Master
• Java and Web technology, preferably with implementation experience of AEM as a content management system
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience in supporting & implementing IT or enterprise applications using web technologies, database concepts, and modern architectures
• Able to articulate business solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Adapt to and work efficiently with a variety of clients and in results-oriented situations, establishing credibility and trust quickly
• Able to work as the sole consultant in technical engagements
• Principled and responsible professional needs to represent Adobe on customer projects and take ownership of solutions
• Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to balance multiple customers and/or engagements
• Strong foundation and experience in Program/Project management of end-to-end products/solutions/projects starting from storyboarding to end delivery
• Be experienced in advising enterprise engagements and clients
• Preferably a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Willingness to travel 50% on average
