Job Summary

Role Summary

We are looking for a SQL developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. Work with developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices. Support to solve all database usage issuesand come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

Requirement

  • Experience in Store procedures, functions, views
  • Knowledge of Database architecture (Recovery like Database /Datafiles / Tablespaces)
  • Improve productivity of existing stored procedures, tables, triggers and indexes
  • knowledge of Shell Scripting
  • Support as a team member and encourage team building and confidence with individual members of the team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet inflexible deadlines
  • Should have good written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the development team in the implementation of newapplication features and system changes by scripting and checkingin DDL changes to database objects (ex. tables, indexes, views,stored procedures, functions, synonyms, etc.) into source control
  • Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development andimplementation, support efforts to meet integration andperformance expectations
  • Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
  • Writing queries used for front-end applications (websites, desktop applications, or cloud apps)
  • Regular monitoring of database and troubleshooting errors
  • Programming views, stored procedures, and functions
  • Support the development team for database related queries
  • Organize client meets as per requirement

Desired Knowledge &Skills

  • IBM DB2, Postgres DB, Unix/Linux, Oracle

Education & Experience Qualification

Graduation or Post-Graduation from Computer Science / Electronics / Technology etc.
