Role Overview:
We are looking for a Dot Net Team Lead to guide and mentor a team of C# and .NET developers in the development and implementation of enterprise-scale .NET applications. You will be responsible for transforming business requirements into technical designs and leading the development of high-quality software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic project teams, focusing on building scalable and efficient applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of .NET developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality application development.
- Architect and design scalable and reliable enterprise-level .NET applications, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues by analyzing system architecture and recommending improvements.
- Contribute to team meetings, collaborate on troubleshooting development and production problems, and provide solutions across multiple environments.
- Provide technical and architectural direction to the team supporting .NET applications, ensuring that the development process aligns with industry best practices.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and guide team members in adopting new technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure smooth integration of applications, working with multiple integration points.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in ASP.NET Development & Design: Proficiency in ASP.NET and .NET frameworks, with experience in application architecture and design.
- Multi-Tier .NET Applications: Expertise in building and maintaining multi-tier web applications using MVC (3/4/5) frameworks.
- Entity Framework: Experience with the Entity Framework, including data modeling and database access.
- .NET Frameworks: Proficiency in .NET 3.5/4.0/5.0, with a solid understanding of advanced concepts and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Azure Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Azure or a solid understanding of cloud technologies.
- Web Development Skills: Proficient in C#, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, and JQuery for building web-based applications.
- Database Skills: Solid experience with SQL Server, including writing stored procedures and working with databases.
- Web Services: Experience with SOA and Web Services development in an enterprise environment.
- Prototyping & Design: Experience with designing, prototyping, and providing architecture solutions.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong skills in debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting multi-tier applications.
- Development Methodologies: Familiarity with SDLC processes, unit testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Mentorship: Proven ability to mentor developers, guide small teams, and share knowledge across the development team.
Other Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to lead a team, make decisions, and guide team members through complex technical challenges.
- Hands-on experience in delivering at least two full projects with multiple integration points.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
