Technical skills and competencies

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails is must
• Must demonstrate strong programming skills in the following languages: HTML5,
  CSS, javascript, Sass, javascript.
• Must have extensive experience with the following frontend frameworks and tools:
  Vue.js, Compass, jQuery, underscore (legacy) and RoR
• Scripting and configuration experience with yaml, shell, ruby and webpack
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS and JS frameworks desirable
• Experience troubleshooting and performance optimizations a plus
• Experience writing automated tests is highly desirable
• Experience with medium / large sized MySQL / Postgres databases desirable
• Hands on skills with Git is a must, GitHub a plus
• Linux proficiency desirable
• Basic understanding of key AWS technologies (S3, EC2, ELB, EFS, Route 53, IAM
  permissions, Lambda, Elasticsearch).
• Automated deployment experience desirable

Responsibilities :

• Should be able to write code adhering to OOPS and SOLID principles.
• Design Solutions and suggest technology choices to clients.
• Own the implementation of the solution and deliver in designated timelines.
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of
  web-capable devices and browsers
• Interface with customer for requirement gathering, analysis and technology
  discussions.
• Perform Code Reviews of the team members and mentor the team on
  technology best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks and conduct POCs.

  programming and get involved with the deployment and operation of the
  code we build.
• Provide timely status updates and raise flags as needed.
• Up skill and learn new technology as per the project demands.
