Job Description We are looking for a Finance Generalist with experience in Controllership function, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Business Finance in the Global IT services industry. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing financial processes, policies, and initiatives. Your expertise in controllership and FP&A will be critical in driving financial growth and supporting our rapid expansion Core Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Manage financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing. Conduct financial analysis and reporting, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making. Ensure compliance with tax laws in the countries we operate (currently in India and USA), regulations, and reporting requirements, including the preparation of tax returns and liaising with external auditors. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, including financial modelling, business case development, and investment analysis. Provide financial guidance and support to various stakeholders, including management, department heads, and project teams. Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function. Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Finance, with a focus on Controllership function and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Proven experience in establishing and managing financial processes, policies, and controls. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Sound understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience in controllership function, including general ledger management and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels effectively.
