Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and troubleshoot all types of open source applications.
- Managing email servers.
- Managing freeswitch PBX telephony application servers.
- Regularly monitor and maintain a log of the status of critical services, performance of servers including monitoring of CPU, disk space, memory utilization, I/O utilization, etc.,
- Periodic health check of the servers, troubleshooting problems, analyzing and implementing rectification measures.
- Managing uptime of servers as per SLAs.
- Manage backup process and perform data recoveries as needed.
- Track vulnerabilities and apply appropriate patches and upgrades.
- Respond rapidly to server maintenance needs, including on weekends and evenings.
COMPLIANCE
- Awareness and implementation of ISO, ISMS and GRIC policies
- Adherence to the rules and regulations as outlined by the management
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Managing and troubleshooting Linux Servers & Desktops.
- RHE Certification is mandatory.
- Should have experience in open source applications and Mysql database.
- Must handle multiple servers. Should have working knowledge in performance tuning, Apache and web applications etc.
- Hands on Experience in managing PBX, Exposure to shell scripting, creating cron jobs, analyzing log files, MySQL database, managing user accounts and groups and configuring IPtables is an added advantage.
