Job Summary Job Summary The Assistant HR Manager will manage daily HR operations, implement strategic HR initiatives, and foster a positive work environment. The role requires expertise in HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. This position will also contribute to organizational growth through the development of performance-based incentives, KPIs/KRAs, and employee engagement programs. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Operations: Oversee and manage daily HR functions, including onboarding, payroll inputs, compliance, and exit formalities. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes are current, compliant, and effectively implemented. Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular HR reports for management review. 2. Recruitment & Talent Management: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, focusing on internal hiring and strategic talent acquisition. Partner with department heads to identify hiring needs and close critical positions in a timely manner. Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key roles to support business growth. Optimize recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality talent. 3. Performance Management & Employee Development: Develop and implement performance-based incentives, bonus structures, and rewards and recognition programs. Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Result Areas (KRAs) for employees across departments. Support managers in conducting performance reviews and identifying employee development opportunities. Execute Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to address performance gaps and encourage growth. 4. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Address employee grievances and ensure fair and timely resolution aligned with company policies. Act as a mediator to manage conflicts and maintain a harmonious work environment. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and engagement through regular communication and initiatives. 5. Strategic HR Initiatives for Organizational Growth: Align HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational growth. Collaborate with leadership to design and implement rewards structures that promote high performance. Analyze workforce trends and recommend targeted HR interventions to improve productivity and efficiency. 6. Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and labor laws. Oversee the preparation and maintenance of HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and employee handbooks. Desired Qualifications: Proven experience in HR roles focusing on operations, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations. Strong understanding of performance management systems, incentive structures, and KPI/KRA development. Expertise in designing reward and recognition programs to enhance employee engagement. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management capabilities. Bachelor s/Master s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
