Job Summary Responsibilities
  • Design & test custom solutions & integrations managing functional design & scope.
  • Effectively coordinate with development resources to build and deliver custom solutions and integrations.
  • Facilitate the successful application of Dynamics NAV/Business Central using industry best practices.
  • Work with clients to understand their business requirements and Dynamics NAV/Business Central Functionality.
  • Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organization.
  • Apply experience and knowledge while working with clients to ascertain solution requirements, potential technical options within Dynamics NAV/Business Central and related technologies, and scope and resource requirements associated with each option.
  • Functional knowledge of the finance, distribution, and production granules; Other areas of functionality such as Finance, CRM, WMS, Billing/Tax is a plus.
  • Experience with core business processes such as Accounting, Distribution and Manufacturing.
  • Previous ERP implementation experience is required.
  • Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures as related to small-to-mid sized business processes.
  • Ability to understand, communicate on all levels in an organization, interpret client business processes and requirements.
  • Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation, including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without detailed supervision.
  • Train users on new process and Dynamics NAV functionality.
  • Develop data conversion and testing strategies.
  • Manage individual budget and scope of work.
  • Deliver creative solutions to client challenges by applying product knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Eager to improve client experiences by staying current on emerging Microsoft technologies and 3rd party software solutions.
  • Work pro-actively with clients managing strategic projects or initiatives to ensure they continue to receive value from the Dynamics NAV/Business Central applications.
  • Work reactively on break/fix support to ensure clients experience minimal service disruptions.
  • Escalate ISV related product issues and work with partners to drive for resolution.
