Job Summary
Model and analyze new hydraulic pump concepts for automatic transmissions Conceptualize hydraulic designs that increase performance and fuel economy Perform component and system trade-off studies Develop/lead work plans and projects that take into account, cost, manufacturing, function and customer satisfaction Interface with plant based modeling team to analyze new design concepts Perform design optimization studies Execute internal/external tests and validation activities Design, implement, and execute robust systems for static testing of vehicle subsystems Support the definition of critical features for the product design throughout product development stages Develop test and validation plans to insure reliability, design, and structural performance targets are met and/or exceeded
