Requirements:

• Real-world experience building consumer-facing applications with Ruby on Rails.
• Should have worked with Rails 3.X and above.
• Should have experience with Rspec / Cucumber.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of MySQL and relational database design.
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies: XHTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JSON.
• Knowledge of Javascript frameworks, preferably Prototype.
• Knowledge of Python or a desire and an ability to learn.
• Should be proficient in working with Git.
• Comfortable in a Linux environment.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of scalability, systems engineering, and algorithms.
• Good product sense and design sense.
• Should have hands on experience with application frameworks like Node, Backbone, Angular etc.
