Job Summary
  • Responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation and support of HL7 interfaces
  • Provide production & operational support
  • Good understanding of HL7 messages and their manipulations for business needs
  • Experience working in one or more Integration Engine in the capacity of building and maintaining complex HL7 interfaces along with providing operational support
  • Participates in integrated and functional testing for new interfaces and enhancement of existing interfaces
  • Possess technical and business knowledge of Ambulatory EMR
  • Understanding the current workflows & implementations and suggesting opportunities for improvement
  • Work with Business Analyst to understand the customers specific requirements and configuration and translate them to technical design specifications and data flow from which interfaces are built/enhanced and implemented
  • Interact with Business and clinical representatives during the build or configuration and testing process
  • Perform technical application configuration and configure /run reports at user request
  • Maintain technical documentation based on standard operating procedures
  • Perform integration maintenance activities
  • Assist in resolving support calls escalated by the Service Desk
  • Identify the common causes of the defects, prioritize them and systematically remove them so that they do not reoccur in further development work
  • Self-motivated Individual with the drive to become Subject Matter Expert to provide technical guidance to other team members
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Participate in focus groups and workshops, attend vendor training and demonstrations
  • Performs other duties assigned by Manager or Team Leada

Qualification :
  • BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.
