Overall Purpose of the Role: As a System Engineer you will develop the system documents, including plans, specifications, and other technical documents and will report to System Metier Manager.

What are my responsibilities as a System Engineer?

• You will develop the system documents, including plans, specifications, and other technical documents.
• You will apply the system engineering processes.
• You will ensure that the system technically fulfills the defined needs and enhancements (change requests) and that a proper system engineering approach is being followed.
• You will also ensure technical consistency and alignment with the other System & Product Design teams / or / Project Engineering teams throughout the development, providing technical support to V&V, and support to Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety Analysis. Interact with other System Engineers and with other Mtier engineers to that ensure the design fits with the intended architecture

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Skills & Qualifications

• You should come with either B.Tech/B.E/M. Tech or any Equivalent Technical degree.
• You should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in writing the System level specifications.
• Knowledge on signalling system (interlocking, Automatic Train Control (ATC) and Automatic Train Supervision (ATS))
• You should come with strong experience in signalling domain, knowledge of XML, System specification is a must.
• Language Skills: Proficient in the English language

Good to Have Skills

• Some experience/knowledge in Engineering Captive Units or signalling companies would be a plus.
• Experience in DOORS (Requirement management and Traceability) would be a plus.
