Job Summary Job Description: Netcool Lead Engineer/ Sr EngineerAltran is currently seeking Managed Services Lead Engineers /Senior Engineers in India team. This role is responsible for supporting managed services & application support for Telecom projects.Domain: Telecom OSS/BSS Role: Netcool Support Lead (1) / Netcool Support Engineer (1) Key Skills: Must have experience with EMS tools; including architecture, installation, configuration, and administration, good Scripting (Python or any Scripting)Alternative tools: Must be able to perform installation, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration tasks related to the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Event Management System (EMS). Should have strong knowledge on Netcool Product suite.

MandatorySkills:
Experience on ServiceNow (ITSM) is desirable1.Event management rules development, performance threshold management, event analysis2.Experience with tools in an enterprise environment3.A solid understanding of SNMP, Syslog, RMON, and other messaging and agent facilities4.Good understanding of integrations, protocols, data flow, and databases5.Good understanding of industry standards and best practices i.e., Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), ITU-T Telecommunications Management Network (TMN), and others.6.Strong background with Linux and Windows operating systems and servers7.Scripting and programming languages including Perl, Shell Scripting, VBScript, HTML, CGI, PHP, or other8.Specialized experience with the IBM Tivoli Netcool Suite Omnibus, Probes, WebGUI, WebSphere, Jazz, ITM, ITNM, Impact, TCR, TBSM and DB29.Solid foundation in networking concepts, i.e., routing, switching, IP addressing, and Internet routing protocols10.Hands-on experience with all phases of projects, especially Incident Management / Triaging of voice and data networks.11.Managing Level 2 Ticket/Order Triage Specialist, Incident, Problem, Service Request, Escalation12.Experience working in a 24x7 production support model with excellent troubleshooting skills.13.Experience in Application Monitoring tools, Incident management, managing crisis calls.14.Experience in System Orchestration 15.Experience in implementing the product catalogue 16.Experience in network activation on L2 and L3 services. 17.Good understanding on application middle wares like JBOSS, WebLogic or WebSphere 18.Hands on Oracle, MySQL database 19.Hands on experience in Java, Unix, Python and Shell scripting 20.Must have experience on working in Operation support 21.Create problem records and perform root cause analysis22.Excellent communication and presentation skills
