About Team
The RBS group in Chennai is an integral part of the Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team's goal is to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product information. The teams primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and online user experience




Roles and responsibilities

Tired of executing existing SOPs, but would prefer to define them while incorporating the best of RBS on a global scale? Here is your chance to Think Big/Invent and Simplify an entire Amazon business segment! RBS is partnering with the WW Private Brands business (US/EU5 w/more MPs to follow [JP, UAE, Turkey, etc.]) to standardize, automate, and globally scale their business. RBS will analyze the existing, fragmented PB business processes and define global best practices and/or implement technical solutions to help the 1P/3P WW PB business achieve their aspirational S-Team goal to generate $32B GMS by the end of 2022 ($4B GMS in end of 18).

The RBS PB team is utilizing existing knowledge of NIS and ASIN enrichment to define customized solutions for our PB partners while owning Selection Setup processes for WW PBs. We are also exploring new challenges including PO mgmt, Deals & Marketing Campaign creation, maintaining 4Star product quality, and a comprehensive tool to identify PB Selection Gap.

We will continue to explore the Direct/Licensing/Accelerator product development models to optimize and scale the PB business over the next 3 years. This is truly a unique opportunity to engage a 500+ person PB organization from 3 different RBS perspectives (Operation/Product/Technical) while defining and owning global solutions for one of the fastest growing segments of Amazon.

To automate WBR, diagnose/implement macros to expedite Selection Setup tasks, Use SQL to create dashboards by task, analyze opportunities to implement Zeus/ACE, etc.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in Operations, Business, Project Management, Engineering
1-3 years' experience in project management, with proved case of success
Understand basic and systematic approaches to manage projects/programs
Excellent oral and written English skills
Open-minded, creative and proactive thinking
Pioneer to invent and make differences
Understanding of customer experience, listening to customers' voice and work backwards to improve business process and operations
Knowledge of SQL, macros, etc

Preferred Qualifications
Strong Automation Skills with experience
Macro, SQL, Python
