Seller Support is a seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join its fast-growing, global team. The Business Analyst in this role will process and analyze data collected from a multitude of sources and in a variety of formats to enable the team to meet and exceed project and business requirements. The role will be responsible for preparing ad-hoc and automated reports, and converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information. The successful candidate will draw from previous work experience in contact centers, customer/user experience and data analytics.

Job duties


Collect data from multiple business users in a variety of methods and perform complex data analysis through data loads and manipulation of the data under specific standards and context to meet project requirements.
Manage stakeholder relationships and their respective data requests, collaborating with other departments representatives and stakeholders to negotiate details such as data point definition and formulas to ensure consistent reporting across partnered groups.
Design and develop automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions
Create and publish, on a strict schedule, standard and AdHoc reports with a high degree of accuracy
Perform basic unit testing on the table and data which are imported/reported to ensure the data will load and reports include the accurate data.
Analyze data from self-created reports to develop executive recommendations and identify process and/or performance improvement opportunities
Working across difference time zones, regions and cultures
Working across many cross-functional teams, including Operations, Training, Capacity Planning and Quality
Sharing operational, adoption and quality best practices across the Amazon Seller Services global network

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in Business, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
Experience preparing operational reports using Excel and database queries
Analytical Problem solving ability
Ability to work with different levels of information demands from different groups
Demonstrated success in translating data into business opportunities, and quantifying results of business performance improvement efforts
Ability to build professional relationships with different stakeholders from different worldwide locations and build trust
Executive business presentations, using data to tell the needed story
Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and SQL
Prior experience with using dashboarding/data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qliksense, Qlikview, etc
Business Acumen
Self-driven able to work with little to no supervision
Able to automate reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree in business, statistics, or similar field
Demonstrated project management skills
Customer Service or Contact Center background
Knowledge of basic statistics, predictive modeling and A/B testing
Capable of investigating, familiarizing and mastering new data sets quickly
