Amazon is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to join the fast paced world of Payroll operations. We are not an average retailer and this is definitely not your average payroll position reporting in through Amazon Finance Operations. Amazon seeks a Payroll Manager with at least 8+ years of experience in customer-oriented corporate environment. Payroll is processed on a weekly and monthly basis, and this person will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility including data compilation and support of the Payroll Team.

Responsibilities includes:


Lead a team of 10+ payroll analysts
Set the vision, direction, and culture of the team
Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees
Monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence, and holding the team accountable responsible for meeting and exceeding performance targets for the team
Identify the training needs and work with site trainer for people development
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Amazon.coms policies and procedures;
Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload across the leadership team


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
B.com / MBA / M.com or equivalent degree
8+ years of relevant experience
Applicant need to be in People Management role
Australia Award Interpretation
Flexible to work in Australia time Zone.
Coordinate with other Payroll stakeholders (HR, Benefits, Compensations, Operations, Accounting, AP, AR)
Previous experience in Australia Award Interpreation is going to be value added.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in Payroll
Good verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in managing customers service teams
