We are looking for an experienced Marketing leader who is curious, driven, and passionate about delighting customers. If you are looking for a role where you can make a major impact on customer engagement through a cross-functional team of marketers & content creators, we want to meet you.
The marketing leader is a manager of managers and sets direction for the following areas Alexa Consumer Marketing to drive customer engagement for breadth and depth, AVS GTM Marketing to bring 3rd party products with Alexa built-in, Alexa Brand and Personality partnerships with both external and internal partners. The leader will work collaboratively to generate innovative ideas to promote Alexa through co-marketing opportunities and create strategies for emerging areas such as Social Media, aimed at generating brand preference for Alexa. The right candidate will have experience or an understanding of both online/offline as well as ATL/BTL channels. The role has to lead the path for India specific innovations while leveraging and influencing global teams for tools and products, be willing to deviate from standard playbooks to drive growth. The role works cross-functionally with Product, Program, and BD teams.
The right candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically: from the creation of plans, to the brass tacks of execution where needed for both product marketing and creative content strategy. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven with strong ownership and focus, with ability to prioritize effectively, self-motivate, and communicate clearly and persuasively. They have good executive presence and comfort working with CMOs and agencies alike serving as the face of Alexa & Amazon for partners.

You are highly analytical and able to distill data from customer feedback, team member inputs, leadership vision, turning it into actionable and inspiring strategic vision
You have experience determining overall strategy, annual goals, key performance indicators, and reporting working cross-functionally across stakeholders
You have launched online marketing strategies and have driven successful awareness and sales programs
You use customer insights and data to influence roadmaps and marketing plans
You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment
You have a track record of good judgement to take creative calls that run high PR-risk
You identify gaps across the user journey to develop products and tools that can help the customer have a seamless and more engaging experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's Degree
7+ years of marketing experience
Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams
Experience managing teams
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data as well as using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
7+ years of relevant work experience in partner marketing and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products in consumer marketing
Experience with marketing or brand strategy
Demonstrated experience coordinating projects across functional teams, including engineering, merchandising, design, marketing, and operations


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Past experience with digital technologies, consumer products, media, and e-commerce
Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
MBA
Experience in PR, Journalism in an editorial role
