In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of functional analysts, engineers, and technical program managers to create and operate world-class finance systems that support Amazon's global footprint. The systems we own are responsible for trillions of financial events and payment flows that would rank among the largest countries in the world by GDP. You will ensure that engineering best practices are followed and that software is designed to be highly-available, dynamically scalable, and resilient to continuity threats. You will own the goals and roadmap of the your team, along with the strategic direction of your software and shape of your organization. You will demonstrate strong leadership as you control your own destiny in Amazon's ownership oriented culture.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1) Strong fundamentals in computer science and RDBMS fundamentals.
2) Hands on experience of 10+ years building scalable systems in Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP with 6+ years of people management experience.
3) Strong functional domain knowledge in Oracle Financials R12+.
4) Functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business suite in a multi-organization and multi-set of books environment.
5) Must have expertise designing end to end Oracle e-Business suite solutions.
6) Hands on knowledge in performance tuning and designing Oracle ERP solutions for scale.
7) Experience engaging Oracle Support to research and resolve issues.
8) A track record of communicating well with executives and non-technical leaders.
9) Experience dealing with a varied set of customers across the world would be a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle EBiz Suite upgrade to R12.2+ is an advantage
A strong desire to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Exposure to very large databases, knowledge in OLAP, and BI tools.
Understanding of Big Data technologies and solutions in AWS.
Background in financial applications
Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts and negotiating timelines are necessary skills.
Interest in Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics
