The Advertiser Success team is a support function to the local sales and account management teams and helps provide scale to add new participants and help them engage effectively with the ad programs. We work on various ad programs covering NA, EU and APAC markets and we provide 24/7 coverage for operations.

Advertiser Success team (AST) is looking for a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled manager, business intelligence engineering to scale our existing programs and power rapid innovation to empower us to stay ahead of our customers needs. Amazon is investing heavily in building a world class advertising business and the Advertising BI team is at the head of this growth machine enabling our Sales teams to deliver at scale. Our goal is to accelerate the otherwise human intensive sales operations by investing in strategic self-service applications that accelerate productivity of external advertising customers and internal account managers. If executed correctly, we will minimize or eliminate the human decision making in advertising.This position will be responsible for leading a BI team building out analysis , visualization tools and processes and work with stakeholders to drive business decisions. This individual will work with technical and business teams to optimize planning, execution, process improvement and track progress against goals. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen and comfort with technical teams and systems. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and enjoy working with large scale of data.

Key functions of this role:
Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support analytical and business needs
Partner with Program and Product managers to prioritize and define BI development needs
Develop a deep understanding of our vast data sources and identify which to use to solve specific business problems
Create user friendly repeatable reporting solutions to minimize ad hoc customer requests
Serve as liaison between the WW Advertiser Success Engineering team, Marketing Science Team and the operations business teams to achieve the goal of providing actionable insights into current performance, and ad hoc investigations into future improvements or innovations. This will require data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
Mentor and develop Business Intelligence Engineers and Data Engineers
Manage and improve our internal customer communication channels (e.g., wikis, data dictionaries)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
5+ years of work experience of analyzing and interpreting data as a business intelligence engineer, data engineer, or at a similar capacity
Experience in managing analytics teams
Advanced knowledge of SQL and ETL jobs
Experience working with large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources
Proficient using at least one data visualization product (Tableau, Qlik, Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, etc.)
Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree or higher in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
7+ years of work experience of analyzing and interpreting data as a business intelligence engineer, data engineer, or at a similar capacity.
Working knowledge of data mining and modeling using statistical software like R, Python, Matlab, etc
Experience with ETL development and data warehousing
Experience with creating and building predictive/optimization tools that benefit the business and improve customer experience
