The Retail Systems function is responsible for building retail platforms, tools and automation required to manage selection, optimize pricing, forecast demand, buy products and deal with vendors. Pricing Analytics and Operations is an integral part of Retail Systems enabling Amazons pricing strategy and operations. The teams primary role is to provide on-time and accurate inputs to help make great pricing decisions. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and Amazons topline & profitability.

Job Description:
In the Quality Lead role, you will be responsible to monitor & drive Quality objectives of the pricing analytics & operations processes. You will be engaged in driving a team of Quality Analysts to spot pricing errors, size up problems through various audits, convert problem statements into process improvement activities & achieve closure. The job involves auditing operations teams & system outputs, leading and implementing process/system improvements, and identifying emerging process performance trends.
You will be responsible to audit, track and maintain the quality metrics of assigned processes & teams. The individual will interact with the business, automation & technology teams to help drive operational and system improvements.
The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels with an eye for detail to achieve quality & process goals, actively seeks to understand Amazons core values and translates those into everyday practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Is an SME on specific business quality processes & methodologies.
Training/update/coaching on mapping operations in the capacity of a Quality Lead
Ticket management (meeting SLAs and responding/resolving tickets)
Drive process/system improvements basis ongoing trends/gaps identified
Execute on assigned project components & drive low-medium impact projects him/her.
Including willingness to work outside of the "standard" work day
Carries out tactical issue based communications with internal
Creates ad-hoc operational reports, status updates & proposals on a need basis

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Has problem solving skills and attention to details
Has statistical knowledge on averages, trend, outliers, charting, etc
Any UG Degree preferred with 4 years of work experience
Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills
Has the ability to deliver results by influencing team members
Ability to work independently and think out of the box
Should be able to dive deep and identify the root cause of the issues and get them fixed by coordinating with different teams like operations and IT

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in VBA Macro, MS Excel and other MS office tools
Has been a part of transformation initiatives to automate solutions
